NO LynWood Cavalier, any other Cavalier or dogs for that matter should be given Bravecto, Nexgard or Simpatico and now FrontLine GOLD (the old Frontline Plus is fine) 1,000s of Dogs have died including 2 that were sired by our boys. They were both given top of the line health care and both went over the bridge 1 week from being given the insecticide Bravecto. One dog of our experienced major neurological issues from Nexgard. FRONTLINE PLUS ( NOT gold) is the only one that our Neurologist suggests and work more on repealing fleas instead of killing them. Hunter’s Litter brother TEN who is co-owned with Meg Hennessy finished his AKC Championship. Both brothers have sired lovely puppies. Their sister, Marilyn Monroe who is co-owned with Connie Ogasawara is having her last letter this summer. Most importantly, they and their parents all have clear CHIC health certificates and are MRI scanned with no CM/SM.

SnoWood LynWood Royal Hank CGC, RN, RATN who is a Ten son, has completed his Championship and working on his Grand Championship. He won High in Trial at the National Specialty in 2016 and will be competing again next month at the 2017 National! So proud for Hank and Mary.
Health Testing
Linda and Woody are passionate about health testing. We adhere to the screening guide lines of the American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club ACKCSC, the parent club of AKC. In addition, all LynWood Cavaliers are MRI scanned for CM/SM at the age of 2. Click here for more information.

All of our dogs at LynWood are AKC registered and I am a Breeder of Merit. As a member of the Cavalier Club of Greater Chicago, I served on the Board of Directors and as the Health Chairman. Susan Shielder and I organize the MRI scanning clinics with Dr. Michale Podel.
LynWood Drama Queen.. Diva passed her MRI scan for CM/SM today with Dr. Michael Podel. She is 4 generations of our breeding and has three full generations of MRI scanned ancestors. We are so thrilled. Diva will be bred the fall of 2017
The American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club National Specialty for 2019 will be in Cape Cod.
